Health And Safety Operations Specialist

Frazer Safety Service is an up-and-coming Health and Safety Consulting firm in the Niagara Region. We specialize in helping small and medium-sized companies build their health and safety management systems.

We are looking for an individual who has not only experience in Occupational Health and Safety but also has education and leadership skills to help with our mentorship program.

These are some of the tasks that this individual may have to do, or mentor our Junior Health and Safety Consultants with:

• Communicate within Frazer Safety Service to ensure that all relevant information is forwarded to the appropriate personnel on a regular and timely basis.
• Schedule training and train our clients, as required.
• Site and workplace inspections and report writing.
• Provide regular updates to the Business Development Manager regarding progress on about the Junior Consultants and their required duties and the status of any outstanding actions, or additional work.
• Policy and Procedure writing for clients and updating our current documents.
• Compile and generate statistical information for the client and Business Development Manager, as requested.
• Project mentorship support with our Junior Health and Safety Consultants
• Build and maintain a thorough knowledge of health and safety legislation.
• Assist in the preparation and coordination of Health and Safety Programs, Safety Talks, Meetings, and Orientation sessions.
• File, photocopy, and complete general Health and Safety administration, as required.
• Participate in and report on management systems audits, inspections, investigations, and meetings as required.
• Prepare and update the client’s training matrix, and provide alerts for updates, with suggestions for updating training.
