The Life of a Harvest Intern:
  • You bring a strong work ethic and have experience working in wineries, production, warehouse, outdoor receiving areas, and damp cellar conditions.
  • Requires flexible schedule and shifts re “on-call”, varying between days, afternoons, and some graveyards from mid-August until mid-October, or as required
  • You are committed to working in a safe and professional manner at all times
What We’re Looking For:
  • Able to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Experience in a winery production facility an asset
  • Able and willing to work indoors and outdoors in varying environments and conditions
  • Must have an excellent standard of safety, work performance, and attendance
  • Physically fit, able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, navigate stairs, stand for extended periods of time
  • Available for all days and shifts, including weekends, evenings, and graveyards
  • Ability to multi-task, work independently and with a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
Bonus Points:
  • Passion for wine and wine production
  • Level III Industrial First Aid
  • Forklift Operator’s Certificate
  • Production and/or safety-specific certifications
  • Previous experience working in harvest in a large production facility
