We're in search of a dynamic and accomplished hardware test engineer who embodies the qualities of motivation, proactivity, responsibility, and experience to join our client's team. In close collaboration with software and hardware engineers, you'll actively contribute to R&D and the development of novel products. Your role will encompass testing and validating hardware prototype designs, refining existing products, and ensuring their alignment with intended functionality. Client's company specializes in developing traffic calming solutions, like radar signs, speed cameras, data collectors, and parking counting solutions. Responsibilities:
- Devise and execute comprehensive test plan for hardware and software products.
- Validate hardware prototype designs rigorously to guarantee reliability and functionality.
- Perform diverse testing levels (e.g., smoke, functionality, regression, performance) for hardware, firmware, desktop, and web applications.
- Formulate and sustain test plans, test cases, scenarios, and document test outcomes.
- Compile technical documentation necessary for product release, including assembly guides, installation manuals, staging protocols, and product specifications.
- Contribute to the smooth operation of the QA lab by undertaking installations, troubleshooting, and ensuring a stable testing environment.
- Execute end-user test cases by assembling and staging devices and testing both hardware and software features.
- Meticulously diagnose and rectify issues identified during testing, delivering comprehensive bug reports.
- Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams to pinpoint and resolve hardware and software glitches, providing training to production and support units.
- Perform on-site hardware testing and troubleshooting at client premises, encompassing equipment transport and test execution.
- Physically handle and mount devices, ranging from small to heavy, as required within testing protocols.
Required Skills:

- Display capability in creating simple testing devices.
Preferred Experience:
- Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in projects related to IT, preferably encompassing hardware involvement.
- Welcome troubleshooting skills garnered from other technical domains like Quality Control or Customer Support.
- Acquaintance with tools such as Confluence, Test Rail, and JIRA is advantageous.
- Grasp the fundamentals of SDLC and STLC methodologies.
