We are looking for a highly motivated, proactive, responsible, and experienced hardware test engineer to join our team. You will work closely with software and hardware engineers, will participate in R&D and developing new products, you will test and validate hardware prototype designs and will work with improvements of existing products and ensure they function for their intended purpose. Our company specializes in developing traffic calming solutions, like radar signs, speed cameras, data collectors and parking counting solutions. Responsibilities:
- Assemble/stage devices and test features of both hardware and software through end-user test cases.
- Assist in managing the QA lab by carrying out installations, troubleshooting, and ensuring a stable test environment.
- Test and validate hardware prototype designs to ensure functionality and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues found during testing and provide detailed bug reports.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for both hardware and software products.
- Perform on-site hardware testing and troubleshooting at client facilities by carrying equipment and conducting various tests.
- Documenting all required for product release technical parts, like assembly guides, installation manuals, staging guides, product specification documents and so on.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve hardware and software issues and provide training to the production and support teams.
- Create and maintain test plans, test cases, scenarios, and test results.
- Conduct various levels and types of testing (smoke, functionality, regression, performance, etc.) for hardware, firmware, desktop, and web applications.
- Carry and mount small to heavy devices as necessary as part of testing.

- You should be able to create simple testing devices on your own
Preferable experience:
- Understanding of SDLC and STLC approaches
- Troubleshooting experience from other technical domains like, for example, QC or Customer Support is more than welcomed.
- Minimum of 3 years of working experience with “IT-related” projects, and preferably with involving hardware.
- Knowledge of tools like Confluence, Test Rail, and JIRA is recommended.
