As a Project Manager - Federal, you are part of a dynamic and client oriented professional environment providing consulting services to owners. You are great with numbers AND people. You love diving deep into research and analysis to provide strategic solutions for your clients. You are passionate about real property and infrastructure as an enabler of organizational strategy and performance. Responsibilities


  • Manage and update project budget data and reports on individual project financial statuses
  • Maintain high standards related to final product quality
  • Planning and coordinating project management activities including financial, planning and contracting aspects
  • Support senior team members in project documentation and co-ordination
  • Assist design managers in compiling multi-discipline reports for client review
  • Assist with overall project performance including forecasting, costing, scheduling, and quality assurance
  • Co-ordinate consultant drawings, documentation and other submissions amongst the project team for review and comments
  • Review budget data and be able to forecast project services costs for each quarter
  • Working with a variety of project management tools such as Microsoft Project, MS Word, MS Excel, etc
  • Produce internal and external project status reports


Qualifications


  • Must hold a valid Federal Government security clearance: Secret level
  • French/English bilingual is considered a strong asset
  • A university degree in architecture, engineering, interior design, or a combination of educational and experience background
  • International travel may be required
  • 5-7 years of experience in project management
  • OAA. P.Eng, PMP designation, LEED AP accreditation or other industry recognized credentials are considered assets
  • Strong computer skills, including a working knowledge of scheduling (MS Project), word processing (Word) and spreadsheet (Excel) software applications
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal communication and presentation skills in both French and English
  • Experience with CAD and other industries drafting software
  • Effective leadership and organizational skills with the ability to effectively influence others and successfully resolve a variety of client, project and technical issues
