Game Designer - Intermediate

About you:

We can't create our games without you! Do you love mobile free to play games, both to create them and play them? If that's a yes, then check out this quick video clip of what we do at ATA. You will be working on our game Single City. We are planning to fill this Game Designer level 2 role very quickly. Our interview process includes a call with our recruiter, a take-home assignment to show off your skills, and final interviews.

You will be able to work fully remotely from anywhere across Canada in this position. You will be given ownership over your work, as part of an incredible team of designers, engineers, artists, and community managers.

You will design, analyze and iterate on a live game which on any given day could mean working on events, balance, sales, economy design, content extensions, new heroes, new features, or fixes to the NUX.

Have you…

• Worked on a live mobile free to play game for a few years?
• Extended or rebalanced existing content systems?
• Used spreadsheets to organize and evaluate design data?
• Analyzed data and designed experiments to test out design theories?

You may even have tried your hand at…

• Systems design, combat balance, merchandising monetization or economy design
• Visual design/art and/ or narrative design or QA automation?
