We are seeking a passionate and driven intern to join our development team for a JavaScript/Node.js internship focused on backend development. In this role, you will primarily work on building and enhancing the backend functionalities of our internal Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software. This position offers an excellent opportunity for candidates interested in gaining hands-on experience in backend development using JavaScript and Node.js while contributing to critical internal systems.

• Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and implement sleek and intuitive UI interfaces using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related technologies.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in JavaScript, Node.js, and UI development.
• Transform wireframes and mockups into visually stunning and fully functional UI interfaces, working closely with designers.
• Explore innovative solutions to enhance user experience and improve application usability.
• Troubleshoot and debug UI functionality, performance, and responsiveness issues.
• Maintain responsive, optimized, and accessible UI components across various devices and browsers.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to producing high-quality, well-tested code.
• Passion for learning and staying updated with the latest technologies and industry trends.
• Familiarity with database systems and query languages (e.g., SQL, MongoDB).
• Graduating Fall 2023 or newly graduated spring 2023
• Experience with RESTful API development and integration.
• Strong understanding of JavaScript, Node.js, and backend development concepts.
• Knowledge of security practices and protocols for web applications.
• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and communicate ideas clearly.
