React Developer (Remote) Home Job $28-$32Hr

ICF,YYC is a rapidly growing, entrepreneurial, multi-faceted consulting company, seeking a React Developer. This developer will help re-design and build a new website for a government agency committed to improving child welfare. The ICF,YYC team performs custom software development and maintenance on a suite of web-based applications. The team works closely with clients and other contractors to ensure the performance and reliability of public-facing, mission-critical applications.

Based on your experiences and interests, we may ask you as a technology professional to support growth-related activities, including (but not limited to) RFI, RFP, prototypes, and oral presentations. Team members are also expected to uphold and maintain appropriate certifications necessary for their practice expertise.

What you’ll be doing:

• Work across the modernization team to integrate related workflow and systems
• Design and build for performance and accessibility
• Migrate an existing website from an older legacy system to a modern platform
• Implement the U.S. Web Design System (USWDS) pattern library
• Build interactive and responsive web applications with JavaScript frameworks
• Work in an Agile team with clients to build websites and applications

What you must have:

• 1+ years with JavaScript frameworks such as React or similar Web application frameworks
• 1+ years with JavaScript libraries and linters
• 1+ years with WCAG guidelines, Web Accessibility, and 508 compliance development practices
• 1+ years with browser developer tools and Git
• MUST RESIDE IN THE United States (U.S.) and the work MUST BE PERFORMED in the United States (U.S.), as this work is for a federal contract and laws do apply.
• 1+ years with HTML, CSS, ES6 JavaScript, React, and Web Standards
• Must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or other related scientific or technical discipline
• US Citizenship is required (required by the federal government for this position).
• 3+ years of software development experience
• 2+ years of professional front end development experience including the use of JavaScript frameworks calling REST API endpoints
• 1+ years with building responsive web interfaces (RWD)

• Experience with content management systems
• Experience testing with Cypress, Jest
• Knowledgeable of AWS cloud services
• Experience implementing pattern libraries, especially the USWDS.
