Food Service Supervisor Jobs

The Food Services Supervisor is responsible for maintaining all aspects of food and beverage services to guests, and employees. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of front of house food services operations, ensuring the effective implementation of operational process, and ensuring the satisfaction of everyone served. This role requires an individual with exceptional people and leadership skills, with the demonstrated ability lead a team in uphold the company standards.

Your contributions to the team include:

• Overall event supervision, including the staff members such as servers during the shift.
• Assist manager in recruitment and training of new staff.
• Responsible for operating a smooth service by ensuring fresh food is served in a timely order
• Ensure cleanliness, hospitality, accuracy, maintenance, product quality and speed of service during shift.
• Ensure health and safety regulations are adhered to
• Ensure the quantity and quality of food being served or delivered.
• Make a schedule for the servers based on events.
• Oversee maintenance and upkeep of kitchen and dining areas.

What you need to be successful:

• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for lengths of time.
• Proactive, team player, problem solver, Passionate about hospitality and customer service driven.
• Strong knowledge of all basic cooking techniques
• Ability to endure abundant physical movements in carrying out job duties.
• Must have knowledge of Food Premises regulations.
• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience.
• Experience in high production volume restaurants
• Must have strong communication skills.
