Job Description

Coast2Coast First Aid and Aquatics Inc is the leading provider of Safety Courses and supplies in Canada. Our programs include CPR/First Aid, Basic Life Support, and Professional Responder courses offered at over 17 locations.


We are currently seeking an experienced Canadian Red-Cross certified First Aid/ BLS/ EMR/ IT Instructor to join our team in Ottawa. This will be a contract position.


Responsibilities


  • Prepare course materials, lesson plans and visual aids.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge and skills related to First Aid/BLS/EMR/IT.
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, evaluations, and student progress.
  • Use effective communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with students.
  • Teach and instruct First Aid/BLS/EMR/IT courses to a diverse group of students and private clients.
  • Evaluate and provide feedback to students.
  • Update end of the day reports and inventory after each class.


Qualifications

  • Must be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must have current certification in CPR/First Aid/BLS/EMR/IT (Red-Cross certified)
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload.
  • Previous teaching or instructing experience is preferred.
