Our client, a leader in the exterior building products industry, seeks a certified engineering technologist to join their team as a Field Technician. You will play a vital role in ensuring the successful installation and performance of their high-quality products. Your responsibilities include conducting installation observations, providing training sessions, and preparing regular reports. The ideal candidate is customer service-oriented, able to work independently, and possesses expertise in teaching installation techniques.

Responsibilities

• Work independently with a customer service-oriented approach.
• Demonstrate proficiency in teaching installation techniques.
• Prepare and submit regular reports.
• Conduct installation observations and provide training sessions.

Major Areas of Responsibility:

• Maintain up-to-date job files and communicate with the team.
• Represent the company at industry events.
• Act as a liaison between stakeholders.
• Review plans and details for upcoming projects.
• Provide on-site field measurement and assistance.
• Support sales efforts by visiting customers and distributing literature.
• Communicate and demonstrate product installation.
• Oversee application processes and resolve installation problems.

Qualifications:

• Certification as an engineering technologist.
• Basic knowledge of the building envelope is preferred.
• Willingness to travel to various job sites.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
