We are currently recruiting for a Ferrous Receiver with experience for our St. Catherine's location. Under the supervision of the Site Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for the general maintenance of the premises.

• Work with a safety oriented mindset
• Receive, sort and organize different types of ferrous metals
• Properly weigh and track the material
• Help with torch cutting if necessary
• Operate the crane as required
• Data entry into the RECY system
• Ensure the equipment in good condition
• Do general maintenance of the premises
• Provide excellent customer service to clients on site

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Good physical fitness
• Experience using a crane will be considered as an asset
• Excellent attendance and safety record.
• Ability to work as a team
• Experience in metal recycling will be an asset
• Ability to work indoors/outdoors in all weather conditions

Hours

• Scheduled 4 days a week/ 10 hour days
• Availability on alternating Saturdays 8:00am-4pm
• Day shifts
• Able to work extended hours/weekends when deemed necessary
