Events Security - Blue Mountain

Arch Staffing and Consulting has partnered with a worldwide leader in endurance sports. Our client is a high-growth, international organization that owns and operates mass-participation athletic events under various brands.
Furthermore, our Client offers numerous related fitness, health and nutrition services and products. With 250 events across more than 40 countries on six continents, they are the world's leading extreme wellness and endurance brand.
We are looking for Overnight Security to assist on 21 & 22 July 2023 (Friday and Saturday) from 7am to 7pm on both days. Location will be in Blue Mountain Ontario.
Pay will be $20/hr and overtime will be paid at 1.5 times after 8 hours @ $30/hr.
Job Overview
As the Overnight Security you will report directly to the Overnight Security Manager. The main
responsibility of the Overnight Security is to provide overnight security at the venue, preventing
vandalism or theft of event materials and taking on small convex tasks.
Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Attentively keep watch over pedestrians who may attempt theft at our event site (compound with trailers, machinery and other assets, collateral).

Qualifications

• Proactively address issues as they arise in order to complete assignments within preset time frames.
• Willingness and ability to travel to race venues.
• Ability to communicate effectively to organization staff.
• Ability to stay focused, aware and alert during overnight shift work.
• Ability to work various shifts, weekends and/or nights and spend long hours on feet, potentially in inclement weather.
• Must be qualified to operate a motor vehicle and possess a valid driver’s license.
• High work ethic and integrity, observant and have attention to detail.
