On behalf of our client, Procom is seeking a ETL Tester for a 7 month contract in Calgary, AB.

ETL Tester Job Details

• The ETL Tester will be responsible for the automation of ETL testing.

ETL Tester Responsibilities

• Communicate progress of testing activities to the team/test lead or directly to client
• Produce "client" and "internal" status reports
• Ensure quality processes are followed
• Facilitate the identification and preparation of test data
• Develop and maintain test cases, automated scripts, and traceability matrices
• Maintain a solid understanding of software testing best practices, methodologies, and terminologies
• Participate and contribute to the Lessons Learned Sessions
• Critical thinking and problem solving; demonstrates the ability to apply with day-to-day tasks and decisions
• Perform requirements analysis and quality risk analysis
• Detect, log, and retest defects
• Support creation of Test Strategies & Test Plans
• Participate in knowledge transition activities

ETL Tester Mandatory Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science OR Diploma in IT with equivalent IT experience
• 8+ years’ experience as a Tester
