Job Summary
As an Equipment Specialist for our Equipment and Systems Validation team at our Laval site, you will need to be experienced in your field and be a reference in the technical sector, performing basic tasks and specialized tasks with minimal or no supervision and share knowledge through practice.
In this role, primary responsibilities include:
  • Maintain equipments inventory and calibration list up to date.
  • Assists in the training of technical staff.
  • Participates in instrument software validations in a supporting rôle for technical expertise or workflow improvement.
  • Handles requests for equipment or supplies for studies with minimal supervision
  • Competent in the verification, calibration, and maintenance of equipment.
  • Ensures that system maintenance, repair, archival of equipment data are performed in compliance with SOP’s, safety procedures and biosafety protocols, and GLP regulations.
Key Elements
We are looking for the following minimum qualifications for this role:
  • Be autonomous and able to make the right decisions.
  • Reading English is required, bilingualism is preferred.
  • The employee must regularly move objects weighing up to ~ 20kg.
  • Experience: 3 years of relevant experience
  • High school diploma
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience can be considered an acceptable substitute for education and specific experience as listed above.

About Safety Assessment
Charles River is committed to helping our partners expedite their preclinical drug development with exceptional safety assessment services, state-of-the-art facilities and expert regulatory guidance.
