We Invite Applications For The Position Of

Electronics Technician

Under the supervision of the Director of Operations or designate, install, program, wire, repair, and maintain electrical equipment and systems.

Successful Applicants Will Have

• A valid B.C. Drivers License.
• Demonstrated training and work experience in current BC construction/maintenance/safety requirements and WCB Regulation relating to the trade and industry;
• Completed Grade 12;
• Two (2) years Electronic Technology Diploma from an ASTTBC accredited college or university;
• Four (4) years' experience as an electronics technician installing, programming, testing and repairing fire and intrusion alarm systems (including addressable fire alarm systems);
• A working understanding of P.A. systems/media retrieval;
• Registered Fire Protection Technician Certificate (RFPT) with ASTTBC;

Applicants Will Be Expected To

• Have working with Microsoft outlook, word and excel and work order system;
• Maintain good interpersonal and communication skills and be self-motivated;
• Complete SD23 online safety training.
• Work alone and within a team environment with minimum supervision;
• Possess the physical condition and health to carry out the required duties of this position;

This is full time continuing position starting as soon as possible, working 40 hours per week at a wage rate of $31.82 per hour, plus a comprehensive employee benefit package including extended health and dental coverage, short term and long term disability insurance and participation in a defined benefit pension plan.
