The Darlington site location is looking for hardworking, results-oriented and professional Electrical QC Inspectors to join our team.

Summary Of The Role

The Electrical QC Inspector is responsible for implementing, monitoring and ensuring compliance with the Company Quality policies, programs and practices in respect of the various and required Codes and Standards on company work projects and fabrications.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepares ITPs for all electrical work and equipment
• Performs electrical inspections and tests
• Interfaces with Customer and Jurisdictional Representatives
• Establishes procedures for testing equipment to Code requirements
• Documents the results of inspections and tests in a timely and accurate manner in compliance with QA Program Requirements
• Verifies electrical configuration of assemblies are in accordance with Design Requirements using various inspection instruments
• Participates and supports ESFL in Internal Audits and External Certification/Qualification Audits
• Maintains M & TE calibration records
• Reviews and determines applicable quality standards and procedures for inspection of electrical installations and components
• Interprets specifications, blueprints and job orders for electricians
• Ensures compliance with applicable Codes/Standards (i.e. Electrical Safety Code, CSA N299, CSA N286-12, ISO 9001)
• Prepare and reviews history dockets, data files & reports
• Presents and expedites solutions to installation problems and testing procedures

Knowledge And Education

• Intimate knowledge of applicable QA/QC Codes
• Capability in various Inspection and Test techniques
• Licensed Electrician, Bachelor's Degree Diploma in Electrical Engineering, or C.E.T.

Experience And Skills

• Knowledge of, and experience working with, CSA N299, N286-12, ISO 9001
• Fully conversant with Electrical Safety Code
• 5 - 8 years Q.C. field experience in a construction and/or nuclear environment
• Master Electrician Certified (preferred)
