VANCOUVER, BC- ENGINEERING / FULL-TIME / HYBRID

As an Electrical Engineer, you will work on the conceptual and detailed design of building electrical systems. You'll have the opportunity to collaborate with other talented designers, engineers, and construction managers to create efficient and effective solutions for our clients. You will report to the Electrical Discipline Director and be among a small group of capable employees. Projects will vary with various commercial, institutional, light industrial and residential projects.

In this role, you will:

• Conduct field reviews and building condition assessments
• Coordinate with other design teams to ensure integrated solutions
• Design building electrical systems such as power distribution, lighting, life safety systems, and communication systems
• Mentor and coach junior engineers and designers
• Write reports on building systems and technical assessments

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• 4 to 10 years of engineering experience, with a minimum of 3 years of North American experience
• Understanding of sustainable design concepts
• Knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code, British Columbia Building Code, National Building Code, and other regulations
• A university degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited North American university or equivalent
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and an eagerness to learn Revit
• Valid BC professional license
• P.Eng. designation or working towards P.Eng
• 3-5 years experience in the electrical buildings engineering field
