FLINT is growing and is looking for Electrical and Instrumentation Project Management professionalsinstrumental in securing bids for various projects awarded and upcoming. Successful candidates will keenly see safety, quality, schedule, and cost. This role defines the objectives for the project and will be working closely with Turnaround and/or Construction Managers. The ideal candidate should have knowledge and skills in electrical systems, equipment, and tools, and must possess a valid Journeyperson or Red Seal certification and prior experience managing crews and projects over $1 million.
Opportunities are available across Western Canada, with most of our work in Alberta and Northeastern British Columbia. Contract lengths are dependent on each project.
What would you be doing?
- Provide regular communication on safety, goals, timelines, and expected progress while motivating your crew to succeed
- Ensure all field activities in the assigned territory meet or exceed safety, quality, schedule, and cost through the efficient use of all resources including staffing, materials, tools, and equipment.
- Ensure that daily and weekly short-range planning is implemented properly, right down to the foreman level.
- Responsible for workforce planning including the development of all work scopes, shift schedules, and field work packages to implement and control all work through to a safe and efficient completion.
- Inspire a culture, that supports by example, where your actions and words line up with Flints core values.
- Provide coaching, technical training and performance reviews for direct reports.

- Able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Have a Journeyperson Electrician and or Instrumentation Technician ticket or a Red Seal Certificate.
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle strict deadlines.
- Physically capable of performing all necessary duties of the job including but not limited to heavy pulling, pushing and lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing, shoveling, bending, twisting, etc.
- Valid and up to up-to-date tickets: CSTS.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbalcommunicationrequired.
- Have high regard for personal safety, the safety of company assets, and employees.
- Arc Flash safety ticket is an asset.
- Self-motivated, capable of performing tasks with minimal supervision.
