We are currently seeking a Shipping and Logistics Specialist to join our existing team with a focus on e-commerce. The successful candidate will detail oriented individual, possess strong organizational and communication skills and ensure every online customer experience is exceptional!

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Communicate status of orders, inquiries, and issues; identify delays in shipments and follow-up with logistics providers
• Review open orders and deliveries to ensure closure
• Assist in keeping the warehouse and yard organized, safe and efficient
• Pack orders and prepare for shipping, ensuring all details are accurate
• Cross train with other team members
• Enter and update customer orders by retrieving data from the company’s E-Commerce site; ensuring accuracy at all levels
• Ensure all retailers specifications and guidelines are met
• Follow up with inquiries related to shipments (i.e. re-ships, returns and credits)
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels, ensuring stock rotation practices are in place in E-Commerce designated work area
• Other duties as assigned
• Process invoices through SAP and customer platform

To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Possess

• High level of concentration and focus required; problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to lift objects up to 50lbs
• Previous E-commerce experience would be preferred
• Completion of high school or equivalent
• Effective communication skills (written and verbal), organizational and time management skills to prioritize orders and job tasks
• Ability to take direction and follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision
• Basic math skills; strong computer skills (SAP knowledge an asset) with the ability to utilize many different software platforms
