What you should know:

Sphere is seeking a full-stack person who can primarily do backend work but work on a react front end too. Our engineering team is fully focused on building the next generation of Mixed Reality solutions that will push spatial computing forward and change how companies work for decades to come. You’ll have the chance to work with new technologies, frameworks, and take on growth challenges that come with building a scalable and standardized enterprise solution!

How you'll make an impact:

• Drive and take ownership of various stages of the development lifecycle including architecture,

implementation, testing, and operational performance.

• Work closely with the core engineering team to design and develop software and ensure delivery of a quality enterprise-grade solution.

• Develop and maintain the latest features of our cloud services and APIs with an eye on performance, scalability, and security.

• Review the work of your peers, recognize different approaches and tradeoffs, and provide constructive direction to move the product development forward.

What you can offer:

• 4+ years of professional software experience including 2+ years with Django.

• Demonstrated experience in developing performant enterprise applications on a large-scale

• Willingness to work with React, even better if you have demonstrated experience!

• Hands-on experience with cloud services like Azure/AWS/GCP, relational databases and building

REST APIs and services.

• Excellent understanding of backend technologies, cloud computing and the fundamental principles behind scalable web applications.

• Experience integrating third-party systems and APIs is a plus (e.g. SAP, Salesforce, Dynamics 365).

• You have a strong sense of ownership and a high standard for quality and what is considered

‘complete’.

• You have excellent written and oral communication skills.
