Chatters, the leader in the Canadian Hair and Beauty industry with 115 locations and growing has an immediate opening for a District Manager.


We are looking for a confident multi site leader, that can build a team enabling them to perform and provide a positive and dynamic atmosphere. You are business minded with the ability to analyze and execute plans of action to ensure top performance and optimize results.


This is a great opportunity for an ambitious individual to provide support to our corporate locations in the Manitoba/Saskatchewan areas.


Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will be centrally located in the Manitoba or Saskatchewan region with some travel required.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Self motivated, versatile and flexible. You are a natural problem solver that leads by example and the first to show the way with organizational change.
  • Meet financial objectives by analyzing profit and loss statements, forecasting, planning and taking accountability ensuring your locations meet their budget goals and taking action as necessary.
  • You enjoy being able to share your knowledge and experience to help others, a professional coach and mentor with mad communication skills.
  • You’re analytical and optimization is top of mind. You work closely with your team to successfully accomplish operational objectives and communicate effectively to get things done.
  • You maximize sales and implement growth strategies to improve overall store performance leading the way with innovation and change strategies.
  • You are the picture of professionalism when representing Chatters LP at all times, you can communicate at all levels and represent our Style Happy brand.
  • You have the capacity to manage people. You are an innovative thinker that can attract, develop and mentor a top performing team that delivers results. You create a positive and rewarding work environment that exudes success and encourages growth.
  • You are disciplined and can set expectations and timelines. You evaluate information and troubleshoot to reach your team objectives.
  • Create the ultimate guest experience, delivering excellence in all aspects of customer service. Ensuring our guests leave with an overall unforgettable experience. You know what it takes to make this happen consistently throughout your region.


QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Three to five years of multi-site leadership or management experience, preferably in the beauty or retail industry environment.
  • Professional, innovative leader that can direct change management and deliver results.
  • You know your way around a computer and you’re comfortable learning new applications and systems.
  • Willing to travel and are available to work flexible hours (including evenings and weekends).
  • Team management, you can attract, coach, develop and implement a top performing positive team that stays true to our brand.
  • Store operations guru, you can execute action plans to drive success.
  • You’re organized, you’re a multi-tasker with strong time management skills.
