We’re searching for an experienced Total Rewards leader to plant their roots with us as a Director of Total Rewards and Employee Wellness. As the Director of Total Rewards and Employee Wellness you will…
  • Lead the design and administration of LTI program including coordination with other internal stakeholders
  • Conduct internal pay equity reviews to ensure our pay guidelines are adhered to
  • Align external market competitiveness through labor market analysis and pay structure development to attract and retain key talent
  • Run M&A compensation due diligence and program design for new markets globally
  • Support the HRBPs on employee pay decisions, policy and guideline interpretation, and job evaluation, including the design of creative solutions to specific compensation-related programs
  • Oversee the global stock plan administration in dual listed environment
  • Assist with board level reporting on compensation practices and strategies
  • Design and oversee compensation and benefit programs including benchmarking, pay for performance and incentive programs
  • Maintain and improve job evaluation systems, pay structures and geographic differentials based on external and internal data reviews
  • Define benefits programs to support employee wellness strategies
  • Maintain external relationships with vendors and advisors
  • Evaluate executive positions and develop appropriate compensation recommendations
  • Own the annual compensation cycle including salary planning, short- and long-term incentive plan payouts and grants, salary structure reviews, etc.
  • Manage a high-performing team of professionals to ensure continuous growth and development at Aurora through effective performance management, training, and coaching programs
  • Review and monitor the effectiveness of existing compensation policies, guidelines, and procedures recommending plan revisions, as well as new plans that are cost-effective and consistent with compensation trends and corporate objectives
As a successful leader you will have…
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian HR legislation and compliance requirements impacting compensation and benefits
  • Previous experience in Benefit plan design and roll-out and managing high-performing teams
  • Deep technical knowledge of compensation design, including incentive, and executive compensation program designs
  • 10 + years of compensation management experience including experience in executive compensation and Long-Term Incentive Plans
