Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Director of Marketing to join our dynamic team. As a Director of Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies and omni-channel campaigns that drive brand awareness, engage customers, and increase sales. Your expertise in market research, digital marketing, and campaign management will be crucial to achieving customer loyalty and delight.
To be successful as a Director of Marketing, you should have an obsession for delighting customers and be results oriented. Additionally, you should possess excellent leadership abilities, creative thinking, and a passion for staying at the forefront of marketing trends and innovations.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Experience and proficiency in executing integrated marketing strategies, including:
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and lead a team towards achieving common goals.
  • 7+ years work experience marketing or advertising.
  • 3+ years work experience in project management.
  • Experience in influencer and affiliate campaigns is an asset.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Traditional: Direct mailers, print, radio, and out of home.
  • Experience in a fast-growing retail or e-commerce business is an asset.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing and proven results in SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and content marketing.
  • Digital: PPC, programmatic campaigns, content marketing, SEO, and social media.
  • Proficiency in developing e-commerce and omni-channel marketing strategies.
  • Physical promotion assets: store signage and in-store customer experiences.

Job Responsibilities
  • Third-Party Relationships. Participate in managing and maintaining relationships with influencers, and industry partners to maximize promotional opportunities and exposure.
  • Assets Coordination. Oversee and coordinate the creation of marketing collateral, including print materials, digital content, videos, and social media assets, ensuring brand consistency across all channels.
  • Marketing Planning. Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans, encompassing both online and offline channels, to promote our products/services and enhance brand visibility.
  • Digital Marketing Management. Manage and optimize digital marketing campaigns across various platforms, including social media, email, PPC, SEO, and content marketing, to drive lead generation and conversions.
  • Intra-Company Collaboration. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Purchasing, Web Operations, and Store Operations, to align marketing initiatives with overall company goals and initiatives.
  • Market Research. Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitor insights, leveraging data to inform marketing strategies and decisions.
  • Team Leadership. Lead, mentor, and motivate the marketing team, providing guidance, support, and opportunities for professional development.
  • Marketing Metrics. Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics, preparing regular reports to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Trend Forecasting. Stay knowledgeable of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in marketing, continuously seeking new approaches to enhance our marketing efforts.
A Day in Life of a Director of Marketing
A day life the life of a Homes Alive Pets Director of Marketing is never boring. A typical day begins with you reviewing campaign performance metrics and responding to urgent emails from your team. After strategizing with your direct report, you oversee the finalization of a compelling social media campaign, scheduled to go live later in the day. Your morning continues with a productive meeting team to go over current business objectives and ways to increase lead generation. In the afternoon, you conduct market research, analyzing customer feedback and competitor data to inform the next month’s marketing strategies.

Compensation
  • $110,000 – $120,000/year. Wage commensurate with experience.
