You will develop internal and external policy and process frameworks to strengthen relationships and consultation activities with various internal and external partners and organizations.You will also plan, organize and direct the related stakeholder activities and initiatives within the Saskatoon Fire Department (SFD) to ensure planned results are in harmony with the vision, mission, core values and long-term strategic direction of the Executive team of the Saskatoon Fire Department and the Corporation.With significant experience in stakeholder management, you will lead the development and collection of ongoing stakeholder feedback. You will also actively collaborate with federal and provincial departments or ministries and other civic divisions on the implementation of programs and services that impact the community in Saskatoon.We need a Director of Community Relationships who can:Build respectful, lasting relationships by exercising cultural diplomacy and tactSkilfully lead strategic planning, policy analysis and development, public consultation and involvement, grant funding research and application, mediation and partnership developmentDevelop and nurture strong working relationships and a respectful and inclusive work environment with internal and external stakeholdersCommunicate effectively, facilitate conversations with exceptional negotiation and consensus-building skills.
