Job Description
Description
Systems Lifecycle & Architecture:
Design and manage the architecture and lifecycle of current business systems, their underlying IT architecture, and corresponding security controls to ensure business system availability and integrity is monitored and maintained.
Define and execute on the business systems integration plan, as part of the systems architecture, to ensure functional and cohesive integration between existing business systems with a view to modernizing the integration infrastructure.
Provide leadership, coaching and training on using business systems in a manner that derives the most business value and functional support for their teams.
Collaborate with software developers, cloud solution experts, and other vendors to define appropriately sized and scoped business systems solutions.
Manage the relationships and execute procurement business processes with vendors and consultants to deliver on the annual IS project portfolio and multi-year strategy.
Maintain documentation related to the business use, architecture and security of business systems leveraged.
Enhance and sustain change management practices related to implementation and delivery of business system solutions and changes; ensuring internal client expectations are set and met along the way.
IM/IT/IS Strategy & Execution
Engage & build relationships with business unit stakeholders, and Corporate Services leadership to gather specifications, identify gaps, and understand pain points with existing business systems to inform future iterations of IS strategy & project portfolio.
Collaborate with IM/IT/IS and Corporate Services leadership to develop, maintain and deliver on the multi-year IM/IT/IS Strategy in alignment with the business goals and strategy while executing on the annual IS project portfolio.
Collaborate with IM and IT leadership on developing standards, policies, processes, and practices that support a client-oriented, responsive, inclusive, and efficient IM/IT/IS team.
Contribute to global risk management by identifying and assessing risks related to the use of business systems and contribute these risks and appropriate mitigation strategies to the corporate risk management framework (in collaboration with IM and IT). Ensure business continuity and IT security is considered in all aspects of solutioning and architecting business systems.
Contribute to the annual budgeting cycle by forecasting business system solution & architecture requirements, preparing the business system portion of the IM/IT/IS budget, schedule and plan expenditures, ensure vendor billing is in alignment with planned expenditures, and initiate corrective action when necessary.
3.3 IM/IT/IS Leadership
Contribute to the IM/IT/IS team’s growth mindset, by sharing knowledge, coaching colleagues and junior resources, and establishing/implementing your own career-growth plan.
Contribute to an inclusive team environment by being cognizant of bias, curious about differences, courageous with feedback, and collaborative in our approach. Commit to change where needed and grow your cultural intelligence to support our global work and workforce.
Provide leadership, coaching, and training on technology and processes to IT teams in countries and regions and onboard outsourced IT providers to successfully support business systems implemented by HQ and leveraged at the country and regional level.
