Prima Ressource is working with our client who is the leader in the field of conveyor belts, and over the years have built a solid reputation on an international scale in the design, manufacturing and distribution of their products. This role is more on-site, and can be in the Quebec City and/or Rive-Sud (Montreal) area.

You an experienced bilingual Director of Sales looking to join a successful, growing company. You have innovative strategies and can build a Sales team from the ground up within a assembly/manufacturing industry. You have a passion for managing and coaching your team, and being the go to person for all things Sales oriented in the company. You are a strategic thinker, an exceptional communicator, and a hands-on executor.
What you can you expect from this role
The Director of Sales will lead the sales initiatives from the ground up. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of our company, create a high-performing sales team, and drive exponential revenue growth. You will build and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to launch into the market. You will lead the end-to-end sales process, from market analysis and product positioning to team management, recruitment and sales execution.
Responsibilities
Market development
- Develop and share sales strategies, research sales and new customers or business partners
- Ensure business development activities
Customer loyalty
- Ensure the level of quality of service provided to the customer
- Contribute to the good reputation of the company by establishing the standards of excellent customer service
- Build a business relationship and secure customers in order to build long-term loyalty
Sales operations management
- Propose and monitor success indicators for each of the people in his team
- Monitor the achievement of results using a system of regular meetings
Developing and maintaining a culture of accountability and continuous training
- Ensure team alignment and cohesion
- Developing the skills of team members
- Provide shared leadership
- Ensure accountability of team members
Requirements
- 7 to 10 years of experience in sales and business development
- Professionalism, integrity and solid strategic vision
- Experience building a Sales division and executing successful strategies
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a director’s role, with strong people skills
- Experience selling in a manufacturing environment
- Strong team building skills
- Bilingualism (English/French)
