Job Description
The Care Group (“TCG”) offers high quality residential care services to complex care clients in 8 homes throughout the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island. B

THE OPPORTUNITY


We are looking for Dietary Aide to join our The Gardens team in Qualicum Beach, B.C.


Benefits: in accordance with the union collective agreement


Shifts: PT, 3:45pm – 7:45pm, 4 on 2 off.


Responsibilities:


  • Clean and set up dining tables
  • Serve meals in the dining rooms, in a polite and friendly manner.
  • Assist in the kitchen with; cooking, meal prep, stocking ingredients, dishwashing and maintaining equipment.
  • Listen and make note of residents’ food and drink requests and needs.
  • Uphold our high standards for food safety and sanitation.
  • Communicate with care staff and Dietitian to ensure nutritional goals are being met for each resident.


Qualifications


  • Proof of Vaccination
  • Experience in serving specialized and textured diets
  • Experience working in a care home, hotel/club kitchen
  • Food Safe certificate
