Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist located at Belle River Diagnostic Imaging in Windsor, ON. The Diagnostic Imaging Technologist will be responsible for producing high-quality medical images for diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of illness and injury. They will also collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to provide patient-focused care and participate in quality improvement activities.


Qualifications

  • Experience with electronic medical records and image archiving systems is a plus
  • Certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a healthcare setting is preferred
  • Proficient in the use of diagnostic imaging equipment and knowledge of radiological health and safety procedures
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment and with patients
  • Effective time management skills, with the ability to complete tasks accurately and in a timely manner
  • Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality medical images for diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of illness and injury
  • Completion of a recognized diagnostic medical imaging program
