OVERVIEW:

The Data Specialist will play a key role in enabling data integrity across SharkNinja's North American key systems by monitoring and ensuring master data integrity, as well as maintaining processes to support overall master data quality. The Data Specialist will be seen as a subject matter and will drive many global process improvement initiatives that will drive cost and time benefit savings.

Here are some of the EXCITING things you’ll get to do:

• Assist to educate, create awareness, controls, governance, and standardize procedures of master data maintenance
• Ensure internal controls are adhered to, and provide support in strategic initiatives, continuous process improvements, process reviews
• Provide support to departmental system projects that impact the item and/or specification systems.
• Execute periodical master data clean ups
• Manage the set-up and maintenance of all item types in appropriate item systems
• Identify improvements to the processes and controls within the team, looking at opportunities for automation and innovation, and expanding on KPIs and metrics to monitor delivery progress
• Achieve and maintain data quality and integrity across systems/processes and ensure that all changes to existing items are completed timely and communicated appropriately.
• Process master data requests as well as response to emails and queries within SLA & Service Standards
• Work with a global organization in North America, Asia and UK/EU locations for conference calls and shared programs

ATTRIBUTES & SKILLS:

• Ability to rationalize existing vocabularies to help break down silos and establish a common business vocabulary.
• Additional languages: French is an asset
• Self-starter with high level of motivation to make significant impact.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to quickly learn new concepts and technologies.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to quickly learn end-to-end processes for maintaining master data across the enterprise.
• Ability to identify root cause of data quality issues.
• Proficiency in developing queries and writing reports.
• Detail-oriented with ability to analyze and understand data requirements and define, clearly articulate, and develop plans to provide accurate master data that meets SharkNinja’s objectives.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Advanced excel skills
• Minimum 3 years of overall data-centric experience on either business or IT side
• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as information systems, or business administration.
• Experience with master data tools.
• Experience acting as a subject matter expert and key point of contact on all data and master data management
• Experience with Salsify PIM is an asset.
• Experience with product/item master data is an asset.
• Experience in capturing and documenting business requirements for data or master date projects.
• Experience with ERP solutions/MDM software and technologies, such as Oracle PDH, SAP MDM, Informatica MDM, Riversand MDM, or IBM MDM is an asset.
