Data Quality Expert - Data Governance Rules/Reporting: Information Analyzer –

• Enterprise CDO (Chief Data Office) strategy and application roadmaps
• Research new functionality and capabilities within existing tools, helping to plan for future enablement
• Support Capital Markets Business Lines and Regulatory Programs in the adoption of Data Governance Principles and use of the enterprise Business Glossary platform
• Facilitate the investigation into root cause of data quality issues by working with Stewardship and IT teams
• Ensure Capital Markets Business Meta Data is up to date and correct
• Participate in Risk, Audit, Compliance and Regulatory requests for the Data Management & Analytics team as required to ensure they are addressed in timely manner
• Partner with business users to fully understand and capture all relevant business
• Deliver data management and governance reporting and metrics for tracking levels and progress
• Promote the Capital Markets Data Quality Center of Excellence process to all teams in CM (Capital Markets)
• Conduct data analysis in support of applications and projects, including identifying and documenting business rules, data needs and data specifications
• Build and implement business rules

• Provide BAU support for Data Governance and DQ applications like IBM’s Information Governance Catalogue, Information Analyzer, IMAM and BPM

• Requirements
• Provide BAU support for Data Governance and DQ applications like IBM’s Information Analyzer, IMAM and BPM.
• Update rules when requirement changes
• Partner with business users to fully understand and capture all relevant business requirements
• Work closely with business and IT to ensure new data quality requirements are understood and documented effectively

Data Quality Expert - Data Governance Rules/Reporting: Information Analyzer – Mandatory Skills

• Excellent SQL skills
• Undergrad degree in Computer Science, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Math or a related field
• Strong understanding of the data lifecycle, including strong focus on data governance
• Data Quality functional & process knowledge
• Information Analyzer or any other DQ tool experience will be prioritized
• Experience with implementing and supporting Data Quality Analysis and reporting
• 3+ years of experience in the financial services industry

Data Quality Expert - Data Governance Rules/Reporting: Information Analyzer - Preferred Skills

• Experience using business analysis and requirements modeling tools, such as: data flow diagrams, relationship data models, business process modelling
• Working knowledge of the IBM Information Governance Catalog, Information Analyzer, DataStage & QualityStage
• QA experience (involved in testing)
• Project Management experience
• Tableau or other BI tool experience
• Prior experience with any of the following Regulatory initiatives- like Basel II, Basel III, Dodd Frank, FBO, Volcker etc.
