Job Description
Are you looking to gain experience within a top 5 bank? Do you have Canadian work experience? Are you proficient in computer applications? If so, this would be a great opportunity for you!
Our client, a top 5 bank, is looking for a Data Entry Clerk for a 5 month contract in Markham. This is hybrid role - 2 day onsite per week. There is a high possibility of contract extension and conversion depending on their performance.
Pay rate: $19.50/ Hour
Working Hours: Mon, Wed, Fri hours: 9am-5pm remotely, Tuesdays and Thursdays hours: 8:30am-4:30pm and is onsite
Overtime maybe required

Responsibilities
As a Data Entry Clerk, your duties will include:
  • Escalating processing issues where necessary to ensure a high level of service is maintained.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve service delivery and support process improvement initiatives.
  • Following firm and industry regulations and operating practices.
  • Being responsible for the timely and accurate processing of transactions.
  • Prioritizing and managing own workload to meet SLA (Service Level Agreement) requirements
  • Processing transactions accurately and on time.
Qualifications
  • The successful candidate must be able to work well independently and as a part of a team
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Must possess excellent organizational skills in order to successfully manage volumes and work efficiently.
  • 2-4 years of Canadian work experience
  • 2+ previous experience in finance department with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written are essential.
  • Solid computer skills are required. Proficient with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel. Working with excel spreadsheets
  • Tech-savvy – quick learner and able to pick up on internal systems
  • The successful candidate must be an enthusiastic individual who demonstrates the ability to work in a high volume, fast paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Must be accurate, resourceful and have a willingness to learn.
