ABOUT THE PROFILE

As a senior member of the Private Markets technology team, you will be key to the implementation and ongoing maintenance of the TMF Private Markets data management solution including integrations with a variety of systems used by TMF’s Global Funds and Capital Markets business and its clients.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to construct process models including data dictionaries and estimates.
• Experience with Private Equity (Investran, Allvue, eFront) Real Estate (Yardi, MRI), Credit servicing (WSO, Black Mountain, Sentry, Loan IQ) technology stacks will be beneficial.
• Structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data processing;
• Understanding of GDPR, infosec and cybersecurity risks and challenges;
• Ability to interpret and develop solutions against data model specifications;
• Strong SSAS and Azure Analysis Services experience – Tabular and multi dimensional;
• Formal change management, including requirements elicitation, specification documentation, project co-ordination & planning;
• Expertise in System design and development required for business process.
• Strong SQL and T-SQL development experience;
• Data Integration tools such as Alteryx, SSIS, Mulesoft, informatica, cloudworks and the development of integrations between the above-mentioned applications;
• Fluent in both written and spoken English;
• Bachelor Degree;
• Availability to work at hours compatible with New York (USA);
• Leading or contributing to complex systems integration projects with Data Warehouse design and build, master data management and BI outputs;
• Azure DevOps CI/CD;
• Strong SSIS and Azure Data Factory experience;
• Report Writing tools such as SSRS, PowerBI, Anaplan, Cognos;
• Understanding of Data Warehousing modelling terminology & techniques;
• Good understanding of quality assurance within a data warehouse context, with a focus on Data Quality;
• Having a thorough understanding of how IT interfaces with multiple functional groups within an organization.
• SDLC and deployment between Development, Test/UAT and Production environments;
• Able to test business applications from a business perspective to ensure that all client requirements are incorporated into the design.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop new (and maintain existing) solutions to maximise the utility of data within the business and provide a competitive advantage;
• Design and lead the development of data, analytics and integrations including API in a hybrid cloud environment collaborating with the Global Applications Services and Infrastructure teams;
• Deliver BI reports, dashboards and data feeds;
• Collaborate with sales and client servicing teams to ensure consistency of service delivery. Support the on-boarding of new funds. Comfortable working across a wide range of cultures and time zones;
• Understand new and existing data requirements, translate these into high-level database designs and implement these;

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• Experience in stakeholder management, ideally working with non-technical audiences and translating their requirements into Data Engineering workstreams
• Ability to work independently as well as in close partnership with a team
• Fluent in both written and spoken English.
