Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Data Architect to join our GC Brokers team. As a Data Architect, you will be responsible for designing, advising and implementing, the data architecture of our client's data systems. You will work closely with our lead advisors on the projects, and other stakeholders to ensure that the data systems meet the government business requirements and comply with industry standards and best practices.


Responsibilities

  • Optimize data systems for performance and cost efficiency, and identify areas where we can improve the performance and efficiency of our data systems.
  • Work closely with data engineering teams, data analysts, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and design data solutions that meet those requirements.
  • Develop and maintain data models, data dictionaries, and other data artifacts that document the data architecture and data flow of our data systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think creatively and strategically.
  • Provide suggestions to align with and complement the 2023 - 2026 data strategy presented by TBS.
  • Design and implement the data architecture for our client's data systems, including data storage, data integration, and data processing.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with software development teams, data analysts, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of data security, data privacy, and data governance.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data architecture and recommend new technologies and best practices to improve our data systems.
  • Ensure that the data systems are secure, reliable, and scalable, and that they comply with industry standards and best practices.
  • Certifications in data architecture, data modeling, or related fields are a plus.
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.


Qualifications

  • 7+ years of architecture experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Federal Government Reliability clearance - MUST HAVE
