The Position


We are seeking to hire a Client Relationship Assistant to support our team of Portfolio Managers in their client service and business development activities.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, organized, detail and process-oriented, willing to learn, apply best practices and adapt to change. The candidate will have prior experience in a similar administrative support role, preferably in the financial industry.


Your role will be to:

  • Communicate and interact effectively with clients and service providers in person, by phone, email and in writing as needed.
  • Generate, organize, and maintain client files and e-documentsand files on an ongoing basis.
  • Respond to client inquiries and provide client support.
  • Collaborate with service providers to complete operational requests and updates.
  • Generate reports from various systems as required.
  • Work alongside our Portfolio Managers and interact with clients throughout the account opening and onboarding process.
  • Enter and manage data in various software applications, including our client relationship management system and portfolio management system.


Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Post-secondary education preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Prior experience in an office administrative role preferred, with preference to candidates with financial industry experience and/or demonstrable investment knowledge.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 suite of applications and an aptitude for learning new software and information systems.
