Millards Brantford is seeking a skilled and ambitious Senior Accountantto a to join our growing team. As a Senior Accountant, you will provide full-service accounting to clients in addition to training junior staff.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Involvement with work related to engagement assignments, including review, and compilation, in addition to personal and corporate tax returns.
- Assisting clients with compliance filings and responding to queries related to filings with CRA and applications for support under new government programs.
- Preparation and completion of complex working paper files, financial statements and tax returns for compilation, review, and audit engagements according to Firm and regulatory standards for clients in a variety of businesses.
- Assist clients with day-to-day queries regarding a number of business issues.
- Assisting in the training of junior staff.
- Review of working paper files, financial statements and tax returns prepared by other staff.
Education and Professional Skills/Knowledge
- Working experience with public accounting software such as Caseware, Taxprep.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Minimum of five (5) years post-designation experience in public accounting
- Outstanding communication skills.
- Solid knowledge and understanding of required government taxes.
- CPA designation is required
