My Client is looking Controller , Big 4 Experience in Real Estate would be a great asset

Responsibilities :

• Preparation of budgets
• Managing all activities of the accounting staff including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, commercial CAM and realty tax, intercompany balances, HST filing, cash flow distributions, financial statement preparation, operating statement analysis
• Lead and Manage a staff of 6
• Oversee the payroll process
• Ensure HST and other taxes are paid on time
• Treasury cash functions
• Oversee the audit process; including being involved in working paper preparation
• All financing reporting
• Involved in the HR process as well as being an IT support for staff

Qualification & Requirements :

• Strong technical computer skills, able to manage day-to-day issues in ERP system
• Yardi experience a plus
• Real Estate experience a plus
• Experience with joint ventures/limited partnership structures a plus
• Great personality, able to manage people and perform an HR function when required
• CPA, public firm experience a major plus
