The Content Manager will be responsible for generating informative, creative, and engaging copy for all of DUER's media including optimized digital placements, marketing, ecomm, retail, wholesale, packaging and more. Having an understanding of brand development is necessary, being able to see the big picture while remaining detailed-oriented will be required. This position is based out of our headquarters in Vancouver and reports to the Director of Brand.
About the Role
Responsibilities:
·Support in the conception of larger campaigns and execution of copy across all marketing materials
·The ability to write end-to-end campaign copy that reflects the brand ethos
·Partner with design teams to help uphold our visual look, feel, and messaging across sales channels
·Facilitate creative brainstorms and present campaign direction in partnership with creative team
·Ownership of blog creation to support customer curiosity and drive customer acquisition
·Create persuasive copy across packaging, e-commerce, email and product information
·Act as the reviewer and editor of all written content we produce, ensuring everything meets our brand voice and writing style guidelines
·Ownership of all language translation needs
·Ownership of consistency across different touch points of a user journey related to copy
Requirements:
·5+ years of experience as a (senior) writer in either in-house or agency environments
·Degree in English or Creative Writing expected
·Proven ability in the development of conceptual, insights-based advertising/brand campaigns
·A portfolio of work demonstrating world-class copywriting and concepting skills
·In-depth knowledge of multi-channel digital copy
·Ability to deliver compelling marketing and content copy
·Confidence working with other departments and stakeholders such as product and creative designers
·Ability to present work to large groups and communicate ideas clearly
