: Content Manager - Hybrid Role

GeoMate is seeking a creative and strategic Content Manager to join our team in Kitchener. As a Content Manager, you will drive brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation by crafting compelling and relevant content across various channels. This hybrid role will allow you to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams both remotely and in the office, including the sales team, VP of Revenue, digital marketing manager, design agency, leadership, and technical team.
Responsibilities:
Social Media Strategy
Lead the creation and execution of daily social media posts across platforms including Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok. Test and iterate on various content formats to optimize engagement and reach.
Sales Assets and Collateral
Develop comprehensive sales assets and collateral tailored to each of the five customer awareness levels, ranging from Unaware to Most Aware. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure content is aligned with sales strategies.
ROI/TOC Calculator Implementation
Implement an ROI/TOC (Return on Investment/Total Cost of Ownership) calculator to showcase value and build trust with potential customers, supporting the sales process.
Content Experimentation
Experiment with various content types such as infographics and animated videos to guide the audience through the buying journey, enhancing their understanding and interest in GeoMate's offerings.
Branded and Consistent Content
Establish and maintain a consistent brand identity across all content, ensuring a unified voice and visual representation. In partnership with the Digital Marketing Manager and Design Agency, create compelling content to be leveraged on GeoMate’s website.
Thought Leadership and Webinars
Create thought leadership content that includes webinars, speaking engagements, conference sessions, videos, and weekly blog posts to position GeoMate as an industry leader and engage the target audience.
Social Media Marketing Plan
In partnership with the Digital Marketing Manager, develop and execute a strategic social media marketing plan to boost brand visibility, increase followers, and drive engagement. Focus on building trust and followership that translates to the sales funnel.
Engagement and Persona Creation
Respond consistently to comments and messages on social media platforms, building authentic connections with the audience. Create buyer personas for each market segment to tailor content to specific needs and preferences.
Data-Driven Content
Leverage analytics to experiment with data-driven content strategies, ensuring the creation of content that resonates with the target audience.
Brand Building
Elevate the GeoMate brand within each market segment through targeted content, thought leadership, and engagement initiatives.
Customer-Facing Assets
Craft content for webinars, trade shows, one-pagers, sales collateral, discovery materials, sales decks, demos, and pitch decks, ensuring consistent messaging and branding.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in content creation, preferably in B2B technology or SaaS industry.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and content trends.
- Proficiency in developing compelling and educational content.
- Experience with ROI/TOC calculators and interactive content tools a plus
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and design.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with data analytics to drive content strategy.
- Ability to create engaging thought leadership content.
- Proficiency in working with design agencies to create visual assets.
- Prior experience in brand building and persona creation.
