Content Creator - Social Media Content

Our client is looking for a multi-talented, creative individual to help support their communications strategy in the role of Content Creator.

As part of the marketing and communications team, the Content Creator is responsible for creating dynamic marketing content for social media, email, websites, print and other media, to increase consumer adoption.

The Content Creator will be responsible for managing a social media content calendar and will write and produce diverse multi-media content including text, graphic images and video content supporting the development and execution of marketing campaigns.

The Content Creator will also work with external designers and suppliers to coordinate the execution of advertising campaigns.

What you should expect:

• Support the graphic design of written materials including blog posts, advertising, and marketing materials.
• Maintain inventory of marketing/promotional materials (brochures, business cards, SWAG, etc.) to ensure product availability.
• Develop partner social media toolkits
• Coordinate with external vendors on the output of marketing communications material.
• Drive social media content strategy and maintain social media calendar
• Track and measure the effectiveness of public awareness and promotional campaigns including digital and social media campaigns.
• Write and design marketing emails
• Support the marketing and communications team in the overall marketing efforts of the organization, including but not limited to: Public relations, advertising, partner promotions, school programs, research, social media outreach, tradeshows, conferences, and/or events.
• Draft social media content and execute design and execution of graphics and video
• Ensure the organization’s key branding standards are maintained consistently across all communications
• Draft web content and manage approvals

What you should bring:

• Professional, resourceful and collaborative; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passion and experience in making TikTok/Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook content
• The ideal candidate will also have graphic design and video editing skills including advanced use of Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications
• Excellent creative skills, including copywriting for social media, web, SEO, advertising and video.
• 5+ years experience in a content development role
• Photography, videography and motion graphic skills an asset.
