Construction Project Manager, Landfill

Job Summary
The Construction Project Manager, Landfill oversees the planning and execution of small and relatively simple projects.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Planning and scheduling and organizing and directing site construction and maintenance.
• Maintaining project budgets.
• Assisting with tender development and proposal evaluation, including interpretation and negotiation and administers and manages contractors and consultants.
• Creating and maintaining project schedule and document work progress.
• Maintaining records including approvals and permits, as-built drawings and quality control records and project performance reports.
• Upholding health and safety standards and company values.
• Communicating with other managers and coordinating operational and maintenance and construction priorities.
• Responsible for the management of construction and maintenance projects.

Qualifications

• Ability to comprehend design drawings and specifications and related permits including the ability to interpret and solve problems.
• Strong organization, time management and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively present information.
• At least 3 years of construction or supervisory related experience with preference for civil construction experience.
• Degree or diploma in engineering (Civil preferred), construction, project management or demonstrated equivalency.
• Experience with MS Office applications including Microsoft Project.
• Preferred Education: Degree in Civil Engineering
