Title: Project Manager
Reporting to: Director of Environment and Engineering

Job type: Full-time, permanent
Our client is present at airports across Canada. They manage engineering projects in design, construction, consulting, structure and fuel systems. The intermediate project manager will assist with the deployment and oversight of design, permit and construction programs for large infrastructure projects. They will work within the construction management team.
Responsibilities:
• Assisting development and issuance of tender packages for engineering, construction and site remediation
• Assisting management and coordination of engineering consultants during the design process
• Planning, management and coordination of on-site construction activities
• Documentation and reporting of construction execution processes
• Daily technical review, evaluation of schedule progress and preparation of daily construction field reports
• Management and coordination of on-site professionals and inspection programs
• Tracking of information exchange between contractors and consultants, including RFI's, contractor submittals, drawing revisions
• Assisting with development and oversight of system commissioning plans and operating manuals
• Coordination and development of facility risk assessments as well as operability reviews and auditing
• Coordination of field activities requiring operating personnel including system commissioning
• Preparation of supporting material for work permits
• Liaison with technical departments of authorities having jurisdiction such as municipalities, airports etc.
• Participate and record minutes in project planning and construction meetings
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil or Earth Sciences Engineering.
- 3-5 years of experience in engineering. Construction, environmental site remediate and petroleum industry experience preferred.
