Commercial Litigation Law Clerk

My Client, located in Downtown Toronto, Ontario is a reputable Litigation Law Firm with a great working culture and supportive environment. They are currently looking to add a Law Clerk to the team. The ideal candidate will have experience working within a Commercial or Civil Litigation practice within a Legal Assistant or Law Clerk capacity.

What you will do:

• Support with calendar management
• Editing documents using Adobe
• Filing materials with CaseLines.
• Provide support with calendar management and scheduling's
• Draft Legal documents and correspondence
• Support a group of Lawyers within a Commercial Litigation practice group alongside a Senior Law Clerk and other support staff
• Compiling and Assembly of Motion Records, Affidavits of Documents etc.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Knowledge of the Rules of Civil Procedure
• Experience using Adobe to edit documents
• Experience working as a Legal Assistant or Law Clerk within a Litigation practice
• Willing and positive towards learning, education, advancing skills and adapting to new responsibilities
• Positive and friendly demeanor
• Completion of accredited Legal Assistant and or Law Clerk program
