Robert Half is looking to hire a Credit Specialist to work in the manufacturing/construction industry for our client who has been in business for over 150 years. The Credit Specialist will be providing financial support to company’s internal and external stakeholders. Reporting to the Collections Manager you will be required to monitor pending orders, assess credit application, establish credit limits, and cover for A/R.
Job responsibilities

• Adheres to department policies regarding credit and collections for assigned accounts.
• Prepares month end problem account reports for Credit management.
• Approves credit exposures according to Credit guidelines per account in US and authorizes release of orders to those accounts.
• Collects and reconciles account receivables in a timely manner.
• Prepares adjustments on customer accounts.
• Builds strong relationships with peers, other departments, and managers to best meet company goals and objectives.

Requirements
Qualification

• Certified Credit Professional designation or willingness to enroll
• Post secondary education with 3-5 years experience in a similar Credit Analyst role
• Adaptable to change in a high-volume environment
• Experience in the construction/manufacture industry is an asset
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Ability to effectively articulate both verbal and written professional communication to ensure excellent customer service
• Ability to prioritize, multitask daily expectations to meet deadlines
