Clinical Practice Educator Jobs

Kelowna General Hospital is hiring a Term Specific Clinical Practice Educator until March 31, 2024.
If you have pediatric experience and critical care experience as well as two years' of experience in adult teaching/learning, we want to hear from you!
This role is Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 16:00.
About The Role
The Clinical Practice Educator practices in accordance with the standards of professional practice and code of ethics as outlined by the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) as well as within a patient/client and family centered care model.
The Clinical Practice Educator (CPE) provides leadership in the delivery of nursing education and instruction to staff and patients/clients based on adult education principles and philosophy within a specific clinical specialty or patient/client population. The CPE applies nursing theory, advanced knowledge and leadership concepts in providing clinical guidance and resource support to staff. The CPE assists the Manager in establishing and maintaining standards of care and in providing and participating in continuous quality improvement environment. The CPE provides guidance and support to staff in the application of the nursing process in the provision of patient/client care.
