On behalf of our healthcare client, Affinity is looking for a Clinical Informatics Specialist to provide clinical opinion and feedback on data and system design issues, concerns, and options.
Responsibilities:
• Review system, issue, and planning documentation to provide clinical perspective and feedback.
• Provide feedback and concerns in writing and/or contribute to issue and decision documentation.
• Facilitate discussions with stakeholders to address and/or resolve system issues, design questions, or data integrity issues.
• Provide leadership in analysis of and recommendations supporting best practice and ensure compliance with national and provincial standards across deploying program areas both within use of the application as well as adjunct business processes.
• Provide leadership in analysis of recommendations for identification and mitigation of identified clinical risks within the application as well as via current business practices.
• Participate or lead in the activities related to the deployment.
• Take on additional assignments as required.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• Registration with CRNBC
• 5+ years of project experience, including clinical solution implementation and user change management
• 10+ year of clinical practice experience
• Demonstrable experience with analysis techniques and associated documentation requirements
• Demonstrable experience with clinical informatics and associated issues and strategies
• Demonstrable experience with change management techniques and approaches
• Strong communication skills including written, oral, and presentation
• Demonstrable skills organizing activation and user change management activities
• Experience in healthcare considered essential
