Class 1 Equipment Operator Jobs

Adecco is on the hunt to fill an on-site Equipment Operator Job in Sherwood Park, AB. The ideal candidate will possess a Class One (1) Operators License and have a minimum of 3 years of professional truck driving experience. This is a full-time/permanent position (80% in the shop, 20% driving) and offers a competitive salary, full benefits, RRSP matching, and much more.
Equipment Operator Job Responsibilities:

• Delivers throughout Alberta and on occasion neighboring provinces
• Performs pre and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicles and notifying supervisor of any deficiencies
• Operates Commercial vehicles in accordance with Occupational and Safety Health and Ministry of Transportation
• Operates various equipment on sites such as overhead crane, forklift, pressure washer, intermediate bulk containers, high-pressure pumps and ultrasonic pressure.
• Troubleshoot and complete preventative maintenance on facility equipment.
• Immediately reports any unsafe situations or service calls to the supervisor before attempting service.
• Notifies the Supervisor of any incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage.
• Troubleshoots and completes preventative maintenance on facility equipment.

Equipment Operator Job Requirements:

• Valid forklift ticket
• Drug and Alcohol tests required
• 3 years of professional truck driving experience
• Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada
• Valid Class One (1) license with driver abstract
• Valid Overhead Crane and Rigging ticket
• Physically fit and capable of working in various weather conditions
