Truck And Pup Class 1

As a Truck and Pup Class 1 at Wilco Contractors Northwest Inc, you will be responsible for hauling materials to and from job sites. You will work closely with our team of skilled professionals to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment using safe driving practices.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with team members, superiors, and clients
• Follow all traffic regulations and company driving policies and procedures
• Maintain accurate logs of materials and deliveries
• Ensure proper securing of all loads prior to transport
• Perform daily vehicle safety inspections and maintenance checks
• Haul aggregates to various work sites in Edmonton and the surrounding area in a timely and safe manner
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently, including the use of various types of trailers
• Follow assigned routes and schedules for efficient and timely deliveries

Requirements

• Must possess a Class 1 driver's license
• Safety-oriented mindset with a strong attention to detail
• Minimum 1 year experience in truck and pup operations
• Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and written
• Tech savvy, comfortable using an iPhone or android (app) Nektar
• Knowledge of industry regulations and procedures related to driving and equipment operation
• Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to perform routine equipment maintenance
• Experience Loading and Hauling Equipment is an asset
