Chocolatier / Pastry Jobs

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced bakery / confections individual with a very high attention to detail. This individual will be making all varieties of chocolate confections and caramels, along with gelato / sorbetto and small travel cakes and cookies. We are driven to perfection and focused on ingredients.

To be considered for this position, you must have the following:

• Some experience in confections or pastry
• High attention to detail
• Fluency in English
• A positive and fun attitude

The perfect candidate will be very passionate about food and have extensive pastry experience however we are prepared to train the serious hobbyist.

This job is a 7am - 3pm work day with a 1/2 hour unpaid lunch, and two 15 min paid breaks. We are offering the right candidate the option to work 4 days (30 paid hours per week) or 5 days (37.5 paid hours per week).

While production will be the priority for this position, there will be requirements to serve customers, including barista duties, answering the telephone, etc. There will be a one-hour clean up schedule each day. You will be working alongside the owner and retail staff and the atmosphere is light and fun.
