Our well-established client in Banking Sector, office locate in Toronto partnered with Kelly Services to recruit for a Business Analyst Data Risk analyst to join department of P&CB Digital Marketing Data & Analytics' - Data Management Office DMO . The incumbent should be prepared for supporting the monitoring and oversight of various Data Risk programs, such as Data Retention and Destruction or Data Classification and Labeling
- Provide project management support, expertise and coordination for the implementation of RBC Data standards across P&CB jurisdictions
- Facilitate meetings with internal technology and business partners to identify and document data controls addressing the applicable regulations
Department/Team:
DMO is a horizontal 1st Line of Defence group, the center of excellence for data governance and data risk management best practices across P&CB. Our role is to support Risk and Control Owners in identifying and mitigating data risks and ensure consistency in how enterprise data policies and standards are implemented.
Qualification Requirements:
Bachelor degree
- Previous experience working as Business Analyst or similar responsibilities
- Project Management experience
- Familiar with data environments including both operational and analytics platforms
- 4 years experience working with large number of stakeholders an asset
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to deliver well-structured business documentation
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and engage stakeholders
- Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple competing deadlines
Expert user proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
nice to have: BA certification, PM certification
